Q.what type of physical routine do you follow for mental peace and to stay fit and what is your diet like?what is your day like?
MRIDUL KRISHNA JI-time management plays an important role in my routine.waking up at the right time, having caught up with enough amount of sound sleep,we also needhealthy food.these aspects govern my daily routine.
fitness is utmost importance to me because when i conduct my kathas,i need to sit in one place and posture for about 5to6 hours at end and i do not have the practice of even sipping water until i get off the dias.without the power of toga this is impossible to carry out.i also undertake constant travels to aal kinds of remote places.sometimes between one katha and the other there is barely enough time to travel and reach the venue and carry on with the strenous sessions.travels abroad is all about jet leg and long drives.the schedule is packed with back to back events and my day begins early and ends late.such rigorous strain needs a robust health to withstand.
so my daily routine goes like this:i wake up at 4:30am and start the day with meditation for 10-12 minutes even before i get off the bed.then i do my panch snan(wish face, hands and legs)and go for a morning walk for 40 to 45 mins.(if for any reason i can not take an open air walk since i keep travelling a lot,i use a treadmill).thereafter i do pranayam, yog, exercise.in my younger days i used to perform 500 dhand baitak(squats and push ups).i still do about 100 times.
after this,i perform pooja in which i do thakurji's seva and meditate.since i am a spiritualist i can afford to spend more time on these things unlike someone who works.i continue my japa through out the day while doing through all my activities,be it my bhagawath kathas, streaming visitors from india and abroad or my recording sessions of bhajans.what is constan amidst all this is my japa, which is an incessant process for me all waking hours and even in my sleep.
after thakurji's seva,i part take my breakfast.every morning i have a practice of consuming 7 badams as a paste that strenghten the brain cells.good memory is a must in my field as one has to remember the extensive verses of the bhagawat text by heart.my breakfast consists of dalia, milk, fruits and sprouts.in the afternoon i eat chapaati, dal sabji, curd and salad.in the evening i eat fruits and have green tea.my dinner is light with brown bread, dalia, chela along with salad, soup.and one glass milk at night.
Q.do you support the cause of baba ramdev's crusade?
MRIDUL KRISHNA JI:baba ramdev has raised a voice against corruption and demanded the black money from foreign banks be brought back and indeed i do extend my samarthan towards the cause which is certainly in the intrest of the people of this country.
